Found from Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and Costa Rica at elevations of 50 to 500 meters as a mini-miniature szied, hot growing epiphyt with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 short, ribbed sheaths and carrying an erect, thickly coriaceous, linear-obovate, thickly subtriangular in cross-section, subacute to obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the subpetiolate base leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on an apical, solitary flowered inflorescence that is longer than the leaves.
