Common Name The Bokoro Plocoglottis

Found in Yunnan province of China, Cambodia and Laos in damp spots in dense forests at elevations around 500 to 1300 meters as a medium to giant sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a reed-like, purple-red, basally bulbous, elonate stem arising from distinct, bottle-shaped to conical, dark olive green becoming purplish brown with age pseudobulbs and carrying many deciduous, elliptic-lanceolate, draping, acute leaves without prominent petioles that blooms in late spring and summer on an erect, basal, 12 to 20.4" [30 to 51 cm] long overall, pubescent, provided with 5 to 8 sterile, a few basal the others scattered, lanceolate-oblong, tubular, acute, glabrous bracts, rachis 2.68 to 8" [7 to 20 cm] long, sparsely 7 to 15 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, shorter thanthe pedicel and ovary floral bracts.
