Common Name or Meaning The Mountain Loving Polystachya

Found in Madagascar in lichen forests at elevations of 1500 to 2000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a simple to rarely branched, slightly sinuate pseudobulbs carrying 6 to 10, apical, distichous, very thin, linear leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, erect, to 5" [12.5 cm] long, finely pubescent, 18 to 20 flowered inflorescence.
