Found only in Kenya as a small sized, cold growing epiphyte in upland forests at elevations of 2500 to 2700 meters with slender, narrowly conical to sub-cyclindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, conduplicate, narrowly oblanceolate, subacute leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, 5 to 6" [12.5 to 15 cm] long, several [5 to 8] flowered inflorescence with pubescent, very fleshy flowers occuring in the summer through winter.
