Found in Ecuador without locality as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped by 2 thin, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thickly coriaceous, slightly verrucose, elliptical-obovate, subacute to obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an ascending, smooth, slender, 3.2" [8 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with a few, distant bracts, arising from the base of the ramicaul with a tubular floral bract.

"Characterized by the smooth, slender peduncle longer than the elaf, an untwisted ovary and a medium sized flower with transluscent white sepals suffused with rose. The sepaline tails are thick, about as long as the blade. The petals are narrrowly oblong and the blade of the lip is obtriangular with rounded angles and the callus of the claw is low and obscurely conical." Luer 2010
