Flower Size .64 to .88" [1.6 to 2.2 cm]

Found in Victoria Australia in seasonally wet grasslands and grassy woodlands at elevations of 20 to 100 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, erect, apically suberect, withered at blooming leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, slender to stout, 12 t o22" [30 to 55 cm] long overall, rachis 2.8 top 8" [7 to 20 cm] long, 15 to 30 flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant flowers.

This taxon was formerly included in Prasophyllum pyriforme, but that species has fused lateral sepals, slightly later flowering period and favours drier forest habitats.
