Common Name Goldsack's Prasophyllum - In Australia The Quaint Leek Orchid

Found in South Australia in in shrubby vegetation in limey sand at elevations of 20 to 150 meters as a small to medium sized cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 9.6 to 15.2" [24 to 38 cm] long, 5 to 12 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, strongly scented flowers.
