Found in Victoria in sparse, shrubby forests at elevations of 200 to 350 meters as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the late spring on an erect, 15.2 to 32" [38 to 80 cm] long, 15 to 40 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, lightly scented flowers
