Found in ACT and New South Wales on rocky ridges in snowgum woodlands at elevations of 1500 to 1650 meters as a medium to large sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the summer on an erect, 18 to 38" [45 to 95 cm] long, 16 to 20 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, scented flowers
