Found in Victoria Australia among sedges and rushes in swamps at elevations around 280 meters as a medium sized, cold growing terrestrial with a single, stem clasping leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, 14.8 to 23.2" [37 to 58 cm] long, 12 to 15 flowered inflorescence and carrying non-resupinate, scented flowers
