Found in Rio de Janiero, Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo and Parana states of Brazil as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphtye with 2 to 4, basal, brilliant dark green, erect, thinly membraneous, spathulate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the pseudo-petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, naked, 6" [15 cm] long, laxly many flowered inflorescence.
