Common Name or Meaning The Bag-Shaped Pseudocentrum

Found in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru in very wet montane cloud forests at elevations of 1000 to 2700 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial with a basal rosette of elliptic to oblong-elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a thick-cylindric, 3.4" [8.5 cm] long, densely many flowered, inflorescence with lanceolate, as long as the ovary floral bracts.
