Common Name or Meaning The Flattened Pteroceras [refers tothe rachis]

Found in Thailand, Java, Malaysia and Sumatra at elevations of sealevel to 1500 meters as a small sized, hot to cool growing epiphtye with erect becoming pendant with age, rooting freely in the basal half, leafy stem carrying 6 to 8, narrowly oblong, unevenly bilobed apically, basally narrowing leaves that blooms in the fall on several, semi-pendulous, peduncle short, rachis gradually lengthening with time, flattened, two-edged, to 10" [to 25 cm] long overall, flattened, successively 1 to 2, several flowered inflorescence with semi-circular, very short floral bracts and carrying short-lived, flowers arising on the 2 edges.
