Found in Victoria Australia at elevations of 300 to 500 meters in open forests with sparse shrubby undregrowth as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 3 to 6 thin, linear, acute leaves up th stem and blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 17" [10 to 42 cm] long, 4 to 7 flowered inflorescence
