Common Name The Johor Pteroceras [A state of Penninsular Malaysia]

Found in Johor state of penninsular Malaysia and Sarawak Borneo in lowland primary riverine forests at elevations around 50 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with a straight stem carrying falcate, unequally bilobed to obtuse apically leaves that blooms on a slender peduncle that is 1.2" [3 cm] long, densely prickly, rachis to .4" [1 cm] long, finely prickly, spirally alternating, successively single, to 8 flowered inflorescence with dull yellowish tepals and a dull brownish crimson lip.
