Found in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia at elevations of 20 to 300 meters in coastal lowlands and open woodland and forests with an understorey of grass and small shrubs as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial and keeps it's ground hugging, basal rosette of leaves when flowering occuring in the fall on an erect, 4 to 10" [10 to 25 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
