Common Name The Small Flowered Pterostylis - In Australia The Tiny Rubyhood

Flower Size .52 to .62" [1.3 to 1.6 cm]

Found in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia in drier forests and mallee vegetation at elevations of 100 to 450 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with 3 to 7, sparse, sometimes with darker veined leaves that blooms in the Australian spring with an erect, 3.2 to 10" [8 to 25 cm] long, 1 to 9 flowered inflorescence.
