Common Name Timothy's Pterostylis - In Australia The Brittle Snail Orchid

Flower Size .44 to .5" [1.1 to 1.25 cm]

Found in Western Australia in in dense shrubby habitats at elevations of 5 to 200 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with a basal, rosette of bright green, prominently veined leaves that blooms in the Australian winter with an erect, 2.4 to 5.2" [6 to 13 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.
