Found in Tasmania on slopes of low stabilized sand dunes near the coastin coarse tussock grasslands at elevations of 2 to 20 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing terrestrial orchid with 4 to 7, dark green, blunt leaves with flat margins that blooms in the Australian spring with an erect, 2 to 4" [5 to 10 cm] long, 3 to 8 flowered inflorescence.
