Common Name The Enchanting Renanthera
Flower Size about 1" [2.5 cm]
This is a small to medium sized, Malaysian, Bornean and Thai species that is from lowland forests and mangroves at altitudes of sealevel to 300 meters and is a hot growing, suberect to pendant epiphyte with elongate, leafy somewhat fractiflex, branching stem carrying many, fleshy, linear, acuminate, channeled leaves that blooms in the fall on a horizontal, 4" [10 cm] long, few to several [3 to 10] flowered, fractiflex inflorescence with triangular floral bracts and inverted flowers that open in succession as the rachis elongates.
