Found in Fiji, Santa Cruz Islands, Tonga and Vanuatu at the seashore up to the lower montane forests at elevations of sea level to 600 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a fleshy stem enveloped by leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying alternate, to 5, oblong, unequally bilobed apically, light green leaves that blooms on a lateral, 3.6" to 8" [9 to 20 cm] long, 30 to 45 flowered, racemose inflorescence with non-resupinate flowers
