Found in India and Sri Lanka as a large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with an elongate, stem carrying many, alternate, linear, apically unequally bilobed , basally clasping leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on an axillary, 6" [15 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence
