Common Name The Nagare Sarcanthopsis

Flower Size 1 1/2" [4 cm]

Mainly found as a giant sized, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte on large trees but also possible as a lithophyte on rock cliff faces in lowland areas near the sea in New Guinea at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters with a monopodial, elongate stem carrying, alternate, strap-like, coriaceous, dark green, apically rounded leaves that has an erect, axillary, branched, 2' [60 cm] long, loosely many flowered inflorescence and carries many slightly fragrant, nodding flowers occuring in the summer and fall.
