A miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that is found in Java, Sumatra, Cambodia and penninsular Malaysia at elevations of 250 to 1200 meters with a short, branching, rhiozome giving rise to very short stems enveloped by withered sheaths and carrying 2, linear, thick, fleshy, shortly and unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a short, single flowered inflorescence with very short lived, wide open flowers.
