Found in Morona Santiago Ecuador at elevations around 1750 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with erect, slender, ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3, tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, thinly coriaceous, elliptical, acute, narrowly cuneatte below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on a slender, smooth, suberect to descending, 2" [5 cm] long, subcongested, distichous, successively several flowered inflorescence arising from low on the ramicaul, with a bract below the middle and a tubular floral bract.
