Found in the Aegean, Anatolia and Greece at elevations up to 400 meters as a miniature to medium sized, cool to warm growing terrestrial with a basal rosette of 5 to 11, lanceolate leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an erect, terminal, dark, ovoid, dense, often elongated, 2 to 10 flowered inflorescence
