Common Name or Meaning The Straw-Like Agrostophyllum
Flower Size .45" [1.1 cm]
Found in Myanmar, Thailand, Borneo, Java, Penninsular Malaysia, the Philippines, Sulawesi, the Solomon Islands, and Sumatra in lowlands at elevations of 200 to 500 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with many, close set, rarely branching, oval in cross-section stems, in youth with many leaves in 2 rows all aong the stem carrying oblong, deeply bilobed apically, obtuse lobed, sessile leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, corymb of single flowered inflorescence with 3 basal floral bracts
