Found in NW Ecuador as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte with cylindrical, slightly swollen pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic, sub acute, gradually narrwoing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a terminal, erect, 3" [7.5 cm] long, well spaced, few flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3 acuminate bracts.
