Common Name The Pacific Spathoglottis

Found in the Solomon Islands, Santa Cruz Islands, Wallis & Futna, Tonga, Vanuatu, Fiji and Samoa in rainforests at elevations of sea level to 400 meters as a large sized, hot growing terrestrial with ovoid pseduobulbs carrying plicate, lanceolate to broadly lanceolate, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that blooms on a lateral from a basal leaf axil, erect, to 3' 4" [to 1 m] long, pubescent, densely many flowered inflorescence.
