Common Name Judd's Specklinia [American Botanist current]

Flower Size

Found in Guatemala at elevations around 600 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul carrying an elliptic-obovate,the margins minutely inflexed, basally conduplicate into the base leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, to 16" [40 cm] long, rachis complanate, fractiflex, successively single, several flowered inflorescence with inflated, floral bracts and carrying alternate flowers.

CAUTION Within my framework this species would be better placed within Pleurothallis but to date it has not been named that way.
