Found in Costa Rica in humid forests at elevations around 1250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erct, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an, erect, secund, 2 [5 cm] long including the short peduncle, sublax, several flowered inflorescence
