Common Name The Very Ciliate Stelis

Flower Size .12” [3 mm]

Found in Pastaza province of Ecuador at elevations around 900 to 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing, caespitose epiphyte with an erect, slender ramicaul enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on 2 to 5, erect, subflexuous, distichous, .8 to 1.4” [2 to 3.5 cm] long including the .6 to .8” [1.5 to 2 cm] long peduncle, simultaneously few, many flowered inflorescence with oblique acute floral bracts.
