Common Name Filomeno's Stelis [Peruvian Doctor and Orchid Enthusiast 1900's]

Found in Loretto department of Peru as a small sized, ascending-caespitose epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-ligulate, obtuse, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on 1 to 2, peduncle short, floriferous almost to the base, 3.2" [8 cm] long overall, inflorescence with broadly cucullate, apiculate, almost as long as the ovary floral bracts and carrying glabrous, dark purple flowers.

Found only once, Only Mansfields drawing exists, no material available.
