Found in Putumayo department of Colombia at elevations around 200 to 300 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect, short ramicauls enveloped by 2 sheaths at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, oblong, obtuse, tridenticulate, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a pendent, spirally arranged, 8" [20 cm] long including the .5" [1.25 cm] long peduncle, mostly simultaneously many flowered inflorescence with infundibular, floral bracts.
