Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found in southern Yunnan province of China and northern Thailand and Vietnam in forests on trees at elevations around 1700 to 2400 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a creeping rhizome with .6" [1.5 cm] between each ovoid pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, erect, oblong, thickly leathery, obtuse and retuse apcially, contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early fall on an erect, 6 to 14" [15 t o35 cm] long, erect, racmose, 4 to 6 flowered inflorescence with 6 sheaths and ovate to triangular, membraneous, acuminate apically floral bracts
