Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late spring on a thin, densely muricate-hispid, 2.4" [6 cm] long, sawlike, densely 2 to 4 flowered inflorescence

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellowish brown.
