Found in New Guinea at elevations arpund 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the early summer on a thin, .2" [5 mm] long, sublaxly few flowered inflorescence with minutely triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are brown red, the petals and the lip are whitish with a red central stripe.
