Found in New Guinea at elevations arounds 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on an erect, thin, minutely papillose-puberulous, .2 to .4" [5.5 to 1 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are yellow.
