Common Name The Two Eyed Taeniophyllum [refers to the circles within the flower]

Found only in Java on forest trees as well as coffee trees at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a miniature sized, leafless, hot growing, monopodial epiphyte with very flattened, creeping roots that blooms in the late spring on a 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, several to many successively single flowered inflorescence with concave, apically sharp pointed, floral bracts
