Flower Size small

Found in New Guinea on trees in forests at elevations around 1850 meters as a miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with no stem and with 2 to 3, erect-patent, elliptic-lanceolate, apiculate leaves that blooms in the early summer on an erect, curving, to 1" [to 2.5 cm] long, subdensely 10 to 15 flowered inflorescence with foliaceous, lanceolate-elliptic, aristate-acuminate, longer than the flowers in length floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that this species is very similar to B chaertophora but difers in the broader sepals, and petals. the shorter globular spur, the pollina and the flowers are green
