Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 150 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the early spring on an erect, thin, glabrous, .4 to 1" [1 to 2.5 cm] long, laxly, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with minute, triangular floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the stem, bracts and flowers are a brown-red.
