Found in New Guinea at elevations around 800 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on a serratiform, peduncle setiform, , .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2cm] long, densely, successively few to several flowered inflorescence with triangular, apiculate floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that the flowers are pale yellow with a whitish spur.
