Found in Sumatra without elevational data as a mini-miniature sized epiphyte without leaves and flattened roots that blooms in the spring on a terete, few minutely sheathed peduncle, 2.8" [7 cm] long, flexuous, laxly, successively single, many flowered inflorescence with ovate-triangular, obtuse, glabrous, shorter than the ovary floral bracts.

Schlechter stated that this species is distinguished from others in Sumatra by its long inflorescence.
