Found in Costa Rica and Panama in dense oak and bamboo forest at altitudes of 2000 to 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing, cloud forest epiphyte with a stem carrying narrowly obovate, acute to apicaulate, narrowing abruptly below into the base leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, terete, racemose, 3.2" [8 cm] long, one to 3 flowered inflorescence
