Found in Junin Peru at elevations around 2800 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short, ascending rhizome giving rise to elliptic-lanceolate to oblanceolate, acute, attenuate bel,ow into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the springon a basal, 3" [7.5 cm] long, winged, flexuous, successively few flowered inflorescence
