Common Name Collantes' Telipogon [Peruvian Biologist and Photographer of Orchids Current]

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Peru in cold wet cloud forests at elevations around 3000 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying oblong-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the winter on a suberect, basally terete, triquetrous above, 4" [10 cm] long, 3 to 4 flowered, racemose inflorescence with ovate, acuminate, much shorter than the triquetrous ovaries.
