Common Name or Meaning Klotzsch's Telipogon [Botanical Garden Director in Germany 1800's]

Found in Venezuela and Colombia in very damp, cloud forests at elevations above 2000 to 2600 meters as a small to medium sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an ascending leafy stem enveloped completely by imbricating leaf bearinmg sheaths and carrying greyish green, fleshy, sulcate carinate midvein, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms on an erect, terminal, flexuous, green, terete 8" [20 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence.
