Common Name Mendiola's Telipogon [Peruvian Collector of species current]

Found in northwestern Peru at elevations around 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 2 to 3 leaf-bearing, imbricate sheaths articulate to the narrowly ovate, acute, narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, basal, 3 to 5, successively flowered, ancpitous with retrose wings inflorescence.
