Found in Cajamarca Peru in moss on large branch over stream at elevations around 2625 meters as a miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a decumbent, somewhat branching, leafy stem carrying lanceolate-oblong to oblong-elliptic, acute, shortly apiculate, more or less narrowing below into the sessile, conduplicate, articulate base leaves that blooms on an erect, peduncle strict, narrowly two winged, subequaling to somewhat exceeding the leaves, to 1.6" [4 cm] long, rachis .48 to .6" [1.2 to 1.5 cm] long, 3 flowered inflorescence with spreading, stronglyconduplicate, dorsally carinate, acute floral bracts and carrying yellowish flowers with purple lines near the base
