Found in Cuba?, Jamaica, Haiti and the Dominican Republic at elevations around 50 to 150 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to warm growing lithophyte on limestone karst outcroppings in full sun with significantly thickened almost pseudobulbous stems carrying 2 to 3, apical, erect, fleshy, slightly compressed, acute, linear-ligulate, rough margined leaves that blooms on a terminal, slender, to 14" [35 cm] long, few to several flowered, racemose inflorescence enveloped by a few acute sheaths and has ovate, obtuse flroal bracts,
